OUR HISTORY
Wayne Estopinal held an immense passion for quality and education – generously sharing his time to mentor, educate and inspire those around him.

Estopinal was a 1979 Ball State University College of Architecture and Planning graduate. As a way to give back to his alma mater and impact students' lives, Wayne served Ball State University as a trustee, as well as a member of the alumni council and the Ball State University Foundation Board of Directors. During this time, he spent many years working with students, faculty, college leaders, university administrations and university trustees for some of the University's biggest projects and initiatives.
His ultimate goal was to impact the architectural profession through more knowledgeable practitioners and future thought leaders. Throughout his career, he employed more than 145 architectural student interns – many of whom attended Ball State – immersing each in all aspects of planning and design at his firm, TEG Architects (he founded in 1989 in Jeffersonville, Indiana).
To carry on this passion and commitment to enhancing educational opportunities, The Estopinal Foundation was formed in Wayne's honor. The core of our efforts will be to make an outstanding impact on our community with the same drive Wayne held.
OUR MISSION
To inspire learning, creativity and advance the knowledge of our youth in the communities we serve by connecting them to and supporting them in educational and athletic opportunities that will enhance and empower them to change our world for the better.
OUR VISION
To grow annually, enabling us to provide additional education grants to our youth year after year, which will encourage increased numbers of youth to improve our world through education and proficient knowledge for generations to come.
